Cebi Motors SPA: the company

Among its core businesses, it stands out in the automotive, ventilation tools and household appliances sectors. In particular for the first core business, it deals with the creation of components designed to improve the driving experience and vehicle safety. With a history of success and a vision oriented to the future, Cebi constantly aims for excellence through technologically advanced solutions.
Customer Requests
Cebi’s goal was clear: to create a durable and long-lasting label suitable for application on a specific component: the window motor. This is a critical component that requires high standards of quality and reliability. The challenge was twofold: to meet Cebi’s specific needs and to comply with the stringent standards of the automotive industry, including the registration of each component in the International Material Data System (IMDS) and adherence to rigorous Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) analyses.
Challenges for Alkam: Compliance and Personalization
For us at Alkam, the project presented significant challenges. Each label had to be designed not only to withstand the extreme operating conditions but also to comply with the detailed requirements of the automotive sector and Cebi. This required a deep understanding of the regulations and careful management of the changes required by Cebi: several samples were in fact produced to ensure compliance with the standards.

The final label, made of matt polypropylene with an ultra-resistant adhesive, was the result of an iterative process of design and testing, in close collaboration with Cebi.
